Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Rino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Henry Rino was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Rino!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rino misses with a body kick.
Rino misses with a wild body shot.
Henry Rino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rino throws a push kick but Carson slaps the foot to one side.
A slapping leg kick lands for Carson.
Rino throws a hook but Carson blocks it.
As Rino backs away, Carson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Rino uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carson.
Rino takes a swing at Carson's ribcage but misses.
Rino lands with a nice body punch.
Carson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Carson counters with a big head kick but Rino shrugs it off.
Rino misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Rino misses
letting Carson counter with a right hand.
Rino misses with a head kick.
Rino fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rino looks to score with a jab to the body but Carson is just out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rino tries a head kick but it misses.
Carson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carson blocks a head kick by Rino.
Rino throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Carson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rino darts in trying to clinch
and Carson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rino misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rino tries a head kick but it misses.
Rino blocks a head kick by Carson.
Carson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Rino looks winded!
Carson feints and then cracks Rino's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rino down.
Carson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rino is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Carson rather than just go for the knockout.
Carson scores with a kick to the midsection.
Carson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rino looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A nice leg kick lands there from Carson.

Carson lands a big head kick that sends Rino tumbling to the mat! Carson takes a step backwards and waves Rino back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rino is rocked!
Rino looks to clinch
and Carson counters with a thumping low kick.
Rino is still on wobbly legs! Can Carson finish him?

Carson drops Rino with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rino looks back up at him and smiles so Carson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rino looks up at the clock. Bad move! Carson lands a right hand from hell, dropping Rino. Carson pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Carson!
