The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupu throws a poor cross that misses
and Jenkins makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Poto Tupu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tupu throws a one two combo.
Tupu looks to land a left hand but Jenkins moved out of range nicely.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tupu.
Jenkins struggling a bit here.
Jenkins is looking for a sweep.
Jenkins is still trying to improve position.
You can see the frustration on Jenkins's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jenkins is looking to regain half guard here but Tupu keeps moving and retains side control.

Tupu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Tupu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Tupu is trying to get an arm triangle but Jenkins is defending well.

Jenkins manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Tupu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jenkins is trying to get back to full guard.

Tupu is looking for a kimura but Jenkins is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tupu to get the leverage.
Jenkins wants to improve his position but Tupu is controlling well.

Tupu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jenkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tupu.
Tupu wants to pass to mount but Jenkins is defending the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tupu drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tupu as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jenkins screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tupu! Nice submission victory there!
