Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magma Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons moves into range and connects with a jab.
Simmons misses with a series of wild punches.
Rua ducks under a wild hook from Simmons.
Simmons throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rua could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rua fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rua looks to land a combination. Simmons sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Magma Rua has been cut.
Rua blocks a jab.
Rua lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Simmons backs up against the cage.

and Simmons counters with a left and a right that stings Rua.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Simmons swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rua with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Simmons to score with a decent uppercut.
