Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kidd tries to avoid it but Timmer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kidd to the ground. Kidd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Timmer or perhaps it was just good defense by Kidd, which made it look bad.
Kidd defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Timmer.
Kidd throws a big counter combination but Timmer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Olen Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Timmer.
Timmer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kidd sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kidd leaves Timmer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Timmer goes for a double leg but Kidd avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kidd continues to drive forward.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
