Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dragomir Turgulan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turgulan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kings Never Die. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragomir Turgulan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Ramos!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramos shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Turgulan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Turgulan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ramos defends well.

Turgulan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Turgulan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ramos defends it easily.

Ramos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Turgulan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ramos has managed to get both his arms back between Turgulan's legs - danger averted.
Ramos working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Turgulan's head.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ramos working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Ramos distracts Turgulan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Turgulan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ramos makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turgulan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Turgulan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ramos content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Ramos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turgulan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turgulan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ramos defends well.

Turgulan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ramos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ramos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Turgulan pushes a forearm under Ramos's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ramos is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
