Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolf Eriksson!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood's corner calls for a 1-2. Wood obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
No joy there for Wood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Eriksson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Wood slaps away a takedown attempt from Eriksson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Eriksson closes the distance and clinches up with Wood, looking for a takedown. Eriksson pushes Wood against the cage but Wood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Eriksson ducks right into an uppercut from Wood.
Wood scores with a nice head shot.
Wood ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wood misses with a series of wild punches.
Eriksson shoots and misses
and Wood counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Andrew Wood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolf Eriksson.
Wood throws a combination. Eriksson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Eriksson misses with a takedown attempt
and Eriksson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Eriksson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wood circles away quickly and effectively.
Wood connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wood scores with a push kick.
Eriksson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Wood lands the left hand.
Eriksson misses with a takedown
and Wood counters with a stiff right hand.
Eriksson looks winded!
Eriksson circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Wood. Eriksson falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Wood!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrew Wood!
