The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giddens misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Keijo.
A head kick misses from Giddens.
Good leg kick by Keijo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Giddens throws a head kick but Keijo moves out of range.
Keijo fires out a quick counter leg kick but Giddens just manages to avoid it.
Keijo ducks under a wild hook from Giddens.
The crowd cheers as Keijo lands an impressive looking overhand right. Giddens doesn't seem phased though.

Keijo quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Keijo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Giddens is out of range and Keijo settles back down.

Giddens lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Keijo throws a nice looking combination but Giddens bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
