Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bbq Chicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Capaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chicken tries a head kick but it misses.
Chicken takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Capaldi lands with a straight right. Chicken didn't see that one coming.

Chicken rushes Capaldi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Capaldi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chicken's elbow.
Capaldi has a couple of punches blocked by Chicken.
Chicken has Capaldi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Capaldi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Capaldi throws a punch but it's blocked by Chicken.
Chicken blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Capaldi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Chicken's elbow.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Chicken.
Chicken is looking for a takedown.
A head punch on the inside from Capaldi fails to land.

Chicken gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Capaldi keeping full guard, as Chicken tries to pass.

Chicken passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Capaldi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Chicken really is a fat lump.

Chicken is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Capaldi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Capaldi pushes Chicken away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chicken gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Capaldi throws Chicken to one side and escapes!
Chicken moves in looking to clinch but Capaldi pushes him off.
Despite the aggression on Capaldi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Chicken is breathing heavily.

Chicken rushes Capaldi and presses him up against the cage.
Chicken is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Capaldi to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bbq Chicken. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Capaldi has a couple of punches blocked by Chicken.
Chicken jumps guard but Capaldi stands there with Chicken around his waist. Chicken gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Chicken prevents a body shot from Capaldi.

Chicken tries to pull guard but Capaldi holds him up against the cage and eventually Chicken drops back down to his feet.
Capaldi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Chicken has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Capaldi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Capaldi.

Capaldi breaks from the clinch.
Capaldi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Bbq Chicken has been cut.

Capaldi is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Capaldi shuts the power down on Chicken. Lights out, game over! Capaldi is your winner.
