Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goban Declan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Vieira's choice of entrance music: T.I. - Go get it. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Declan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vieira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Vieira walks into a stiff left hand from Declan.
Vieira throws a quick inside leg kick.
Vieira gets a double leg takedown into Declan's guard.
Vieira trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Declan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Declan tries to get out of the position.
Vieira wants to control from the top but Declan keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Declan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Vieira wants to pass the guard but Declan is keeping the position.

Vieira is pushing down on Declan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Declan is fighting to maintain full guard but Vieira has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vieira in particular looking to stall.
Vieira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Declan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Vieira.
Vieira seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Vieira is pressing down on Declan's thigh, looking to free his foot. Declan is holding on for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Declan wants to improve his position but Vieira is controlling well.
Declan is refusing to be controlled, as Vieira sits in half guard.
Vieira might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Declan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Declan tries to land a front kick but Vieira steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Declan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vieira slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Declan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Vieira blocks a head kick by Declan.
Declan throws a body kick that misses.

and Vieira counters with a low kick, right behind Declan 's knee.
Vieira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Declan sprawls well. Declan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet.
Vieira throws a hook but Declan avoids it easily.
Vieira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Declan bucks up and tries to throw Vieira off but instead Vieira has got his back!
Declan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vieira on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Declan is keeping busy.

Declan manages to reverse the position and now he's in Vieira's guard. Nice work there by Declan.

Vieira misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Declan throws a head kick that misses.
Vieira fails with the takedown
and Declan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Vieira.
Goban Declan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Vieira.
Vieira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vieira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Declan is looking to slow Vieira down with leg kicks.
Declan throws a body shot but no joy.
Vieira drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Declan defends it well.
Vieira takes one to the chin there.
Vieira lands with an overhand left.
Vieira doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Declan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vieira on the side of the head.
Vieira shoots for a takedown but Declan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vieira is breathing heavily.
Vieira shoots in and drives through. Declan sprawls well.
Declan throwing a counter right hand but Vieira manages to avoid it.
Declan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Declan connects with a solid leg kick.
Vieira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Declan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vieira moves away.
Goban Declan is winning the standup battle so far.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Declan as he avoids it easily.
It looked like Declan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Vieira shoots in but no luck this time.
Declan lands with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Declan lands a front kick.
Declan tries a head kick but it misses.
Declan clobbers Vieira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A solid leg kick lands there for Declan.
Declan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vieira sprawling to the canvas! Vieira rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Declan finish him?!
Vieira is rocked!
Declan fakes the body blow, causing Vieira to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Vieira goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Goban Declan!
