Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Joe Baracus!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baracus takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brindle misses with a straight left.

Baracus gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brindle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Baracus is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Brindle is in close to Baracus's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Brindle controlling from the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brindle distracts Baracus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Brindle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Brindle scoring with punches to the head and body.
Brindle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brindle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Brindle is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Baracus working a defensive guard here.
Brindle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Baracus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brindle passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Brindle scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Baracus to see if he's OK.
Baracus tries to buck Brindle off but Brindle is having none of it.
Brindle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baracus keeps working.

Brindle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Baracus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Baracus is trying to escape the position but Brindle is controlling the position.
Brindle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brindle advances to full mount.
We've been informed that Baracus has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brindle raining down hammerfists from mount.
Baracus is looking to improve his position but Brindle isn't that keen on the idea.
Brindle is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Baracus can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Brindle has control of Baracus's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Baracus regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Brindle working away from the top, dropping strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brindle lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.


Baracus is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brindle prevents Baracus from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dennis Brindle dominated that round.
That's time! Brindle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Brindle steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Baracus is out on his feet! Brindle sets himself and nearly takes Baracus's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dennis Brindle!
