And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Stark!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirby connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kirby moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stark doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kirby counters with a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kirby.
Kirby slaps away a takedown attempt from Stark, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kirby is looking to counter with a body kick.
No luck for Stark with that takedown attempt.
Jake Kirby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Stark.
Kirby throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Jose Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kirby counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stark's knee momentarily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kirby.
We've been told by Kirby's head coaches at Team Meanor MMA™ that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stark crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kirby - the referee stops the clock and Stark gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kirby. Stark manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Stark's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Stark takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Stark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kirby can pounce on him.
Kirby is looking to slow Stark down with leg kicks.
Kirby scores with a spinning back kick!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kirby.
Kirby cracks the inside of Stark's front leg.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kirby.
Kirby throws a head kick that half lands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Kirby counters with a slapping leg kick.
Kirby lands a big head kick that sends Stark to the canvas! Kirby follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
