Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earle Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Cage!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Cage throws a right hand that Bradley ducks under and follows up with a left that Bradley also avoids with ease.
Bradley slips a straight right by Cage.
Cage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A punch combination from Cage misses.
Cage throws a right and a left that Bradley avoids nicely.
Bradley was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Some wild striking there from Cage.
Bradley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bradley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cage misses with a straight right.

and Cage counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Cage throws a series of punches but Bradley moves out of range.
Bradley appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Bradley takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cage lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cage swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Bradley counters by moving into the clinch.

Bradley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bradley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bradley is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cage is controlling him.
Bradley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bradley trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Cage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bradley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bradley.

Bradley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Cage pushes Bradley off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Cage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bradley.
Cage swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnny Cage is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cage takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cage throws a body punch but Bradley moves out of range.
Cage swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bradley.
Cage throws a nice looking combination but Bradley bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looked like Bradley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

As Cage tries to get set, Bradley tries to push him back and clinch up but Cage manages to avoid the attempt.

Bradley shoots in and drives through. Cage sprawls well.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bradley or perhaps it was just good defense by Cage, which made it look bad.

Cage tries to bum rush Bradley with a series of wild strikes but Bradley uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnny Cage seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Bradley throws a big counter combination but Cage scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bradley dives in and grabs Cage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cage pushes down on Bradley's head and hops out.
Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bradley at a distance.

Bradley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cage to the ground. Bradley is now in Cage's guard.

Cage has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Bradley is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Johnny Cage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bradley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cage has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Bradley. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Earle Bradley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cage is trying to get back to his feet but Bradley has full control of the position and if anything, Cage has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
