Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Zorlac Alva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Deshawn Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It seemed like Jackson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Alva shoots in but no luck this time.

Jackson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Alva has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jackson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Alva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alva somewhat.
Alva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Alva doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.

Jackson tries to keep at a distance but Alva has taken the fight into the clinch.

Alva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Alva tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Alva lands with an uppercut that bounces Jackson off the cage and back into range.

Alva throws a head kick that Jackson semi-blocks.

Alva fails with a takedown attempt.
Alva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alva off to one side.

Alva tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Jackson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Alva shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Alva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alva lands in his opponent's guard.

A nice side step and Jackson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Alva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Alva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Alva shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zorlac Alva will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
