The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maven moves forwards but Leeroy connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Marcus Maven has been cut.
Leeroy misses with a wild body shot.
A punch combination from Maven misses.
Maven has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Xtreme MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Leeroy cracks Maven with a right hand to the side of the head.

Leeroy throws a hook to the side of Maven's head but Maven sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maven paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Maven scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Leeroy digs a good body shot into Maven's ribs.
Maven moves out of range as Leeroy strikes.
It looked like Maven was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Maven counters with a series of strikes. Leeroy will be more careful next time no doubt.

Leeroy is rocked!
Maven throws an overhand right that drops Leeroy like a sack of potatoes! Maven dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
