PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Dardar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hammond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dardar might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ten seconds to Love. Hammond is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Afterlife. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond tries to bum rush Dardar with a series of wild strikes but Dardar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like John Hammond has been cut.
Dardar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hammond but Hammond pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hammond really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dardar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dardar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hammond is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dardar wants to control but Hammond is keeping him busy.

Dardar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hammond knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dardar tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hammond's legs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dardar postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
