Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian misses with a takedown
and Gertsin counters with a body kick.
Christian shoots for a double leg takedown but Gertsin sprawls well. He's pushed Christian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gertsin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Gertsin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gertsin moves into full mount! Christian won't be happy about that!
Gertsin in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Christian wants to control but Gertsin is having none of it.
Gertsin controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like Gertsin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Gertsin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Christian is rocked!
Gertsin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Christian in real trouble here! The ref calls for Christian to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
