Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Souza!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford pushes Souza up against the cage in a clinch.
Souza is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ford breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

As Ford backs off Souza throws a huge counter combo but Ford manages to avoid it all.

Ford will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ford feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Souzas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Souza tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ford lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ford swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Souza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ford circles away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ford tries to bum rush Souza with a series of wild strikes but Souza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Souza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
