Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jenfrren St Luca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ross Rossi!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
St Luca keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rossi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping St Luca at a distance.
St Luca throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rossi's waist but Rossi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing St Luca off to one side.

St Luca gets control of Rossi's arms and successfully pulls guard. St Luca will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
St Luca bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rossi's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rossi can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rossi has control of St Luca's left arm, preventing St Luca from doing any damage.

Rossi wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and St Luca manages to pass to side control.
Rossi is refusing to be controlled, as St Luca sits in half guard.

St Luca is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rossi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rossi is looking to score with low kicks.
St Luca was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

St Luca jumps guard and drags Rossi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Rossi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
St Luca is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rossi is looking to get back to his feet here but St Luca is keeping cool and he's managed to take Rossi's back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
