The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Montgomery tries to keep at a distance but Whitfield has taken the fight into the clinch.

Montgomery breaks from the clinch.
Whitfield connects with a good right hand that stumbles Montgomery. Montgomery circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Whitfield moves into the clinch.

Montgomery's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Montgomery tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Whitfield counters with a body kick.
Good leg kick by Whitfield there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
