Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andwele Rashid Mposi!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rashid Mposi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice body kick there by Rashid Mposi.
Gustav Lowenbrau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lowenbrau gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lowenbrau is trying to break free.
Lowenbrau is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rashid Mposi pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Rashid Mposi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lowenbrau shoots in but Rashid Mposi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gustav Lowenbrau. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Gustav Lowenbrau has been cut.
Lowenbrau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rashid Mposi avoids it really well and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rashid Mposi works Lowenbrau's body with a nice hook.
Lowenbrau takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Lowenbrau is breathing heavily.
Lowenbrau needs to keep his hands up - Rashid Mposi had a free shot at his head there.
Rashid Mposi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lowenbrau shoots in for a takedown but Rashid Mposi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rashid Mposi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lowenbrau.
A lazy left from Rashid Mposi finds it's target.
Rashid Mposi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lowenbrau momentarily.
Rashid Mposi cracks Lowenbrau with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rashid Mposi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lowenbrau to stand back up!
Lowenbrau is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rashid Mposi lands with a nice body kick.
Rashid Mposi pushes Lowenbrau away with a front kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rashid Mposi drops Lowenbrau with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lowenbrau looks back up at him and smiles so Rashid Mposi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Lowenbrau is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gustav Lowenbrau's cut is getting worse.
Rashid Mposi lands a slapping body shot.
Rashid Mposi keeps Lowenbrau at a distance using the push kick.
Lowenbrau seems to have got his legs back now.
Rashid Mposi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rashid Mposi lands a big right hand that sends Lowenbrau crashing to the mat! Rashid Mposi stays standing though and waves Lowenbrau back to his feet!
Rashid Mposi and Lowenbrau are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Rashid Mposi throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Lowenbrau into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Rashid Mposi knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Andwele Rashid Mposi!
