PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kendric Slager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vai Que Da Certo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Que Da Certo has chosen Stitches - Kilos in my bag as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slager closes the distance and clinches.
Que Da Certo dodges an elbow strike from Slager.
Que Da Certo misses with the head strike.
Slager lands a knee to the head.

Slager drops Que Da Certo on his ass with a big knee up the middle! Que Da Certo bounces straight back to his feet before the referee can even start a count. We'll have to wait a moment to see if that actually hurt him or not, as he takes the standing 8 count.

It looks like Vai Que Da Certo has been cut.

Slager clinches up with Que Da Certo and pushes him back against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Que Da Certo throws a punch but it's blocked by Slager.

Que Da Certo is rocked!
Slager cracks Que Da Certo with a big elbow, right in the eye socket! Que Da Certo drops to his knees in obvious pain! The referee starts the count but it's plainly obvious that Que Da Certo isn't going to get back to his feet. The referee counts none the less and Slager struts around the mat, safe in the knowledge that this one is over. A big win for Slager!
