Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Smoosh Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Nedkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nedkov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target.
Jackson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.

Nedkov has Jackson up against the cage in a clinch.
Nedkov tries to work over Jackson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Jackson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nedkov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jackson's head.

Jackson has his foot on Nedkov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nedkov works his way back into a safe position though.

Nedkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nedkov has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Nedkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nedkov is posturing up here but Jackson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Nedkov tries to roll out but it's too tight and Nedkov has to tap! Slick submission there by Jackson!
