Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Octavio Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Louie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clayton.
Clayton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Louie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
It looked like Clayton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Louie fails with the takedown.
Clayton tries to counter with a takedown but Louie is quick to defend against it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Louie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Octavio Clayton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Louie.

Clayton drives through with a takedown into Louie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Louie wants to clinch.
As Louie tries to get set, Clayton tries to push him back and clinch up but Louie manages to avoid the attempt.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Louie thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Clayton if he has to take too many more of those.
Louie fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Louie tries to get set, Clayton tries to push him back and clinch up but Louie manages to avoid the attempt.
Clayton stuffs the takedown.
Clayton feinted with a counter takedown.
Louie closes this distance looking for a takedown but Clayton circles away.
Louie dives in for a single leg takedown but Clayton sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Clayton half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Louie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Clayton makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Louie looks winded!

Louie closes the distance but Clayton moves to the side
and Clayton counters with a three punch combo that has Louie backing up. Louie nods at Clayton to acknowledge the strikes.

Clayton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Louie sneaks out the side door and pushes Clayton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Clayton keeps the fight on the outside.
Clayton shoots for a takedown but Louie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Louie has Clayton up against the cage in a clinch.

Louie throws an elbow that misses.
Louie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Clayton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Louie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Clayton gets control of Louie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Clayton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Louie wants to stand but Clayton has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Clayton is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Louie frees his head nicely. Oh but Clayton has switched to an armbar! Louie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
