Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mario Luigi!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luigi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bjorkman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Luigi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bjorkman clinches up against the cage.
Luigi tries to land a knee to the head but Bjorkman blocks with his arms.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Bjorkman.
Luigi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bjorkman blocks it with crossed arms.
Luigi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bjorkman prevents Luigi from breaking the clinch.

Bjorkman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Luigi throws a leg kick but Bjorkman sees it coming and moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Luigi is trying to force a seperation but Bjorkman has the dominant position.

Luigi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Luigi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bjorkman swats away the attempt to clinch by Luigi.
We've been told by Bjorkman's head coaches at The Fallen Warriors Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Luigi throws a low kick, looking for Bjorkman's leg but Bjorkman calmly moves out of range.

It looks like Mario Luigi has been cut.
Bjorkman keeps the fight on the outside.
Luigi tries to close the distance and clinch but Bjorkman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bjorkman swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bjorkman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Luigi is looking to clinch but Bjorkman is avoiding it.
Luigi throws a low kick but Bjorkman moves out of range easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bjorkman knocks out Luigi with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Bjorkman before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Bjorkman picks up the big W with a huge KO!
