The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon leaves Papadopoulos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Papadopoulos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dixon is fending him off so far but Papadopoulos persists. Nope, Dixon circles away and we're back to standing.

Dixon gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dixon prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghiorghos Papadopoulos. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dixon breaks from the clinch.
Papadopoulos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dixon avoids it really well and circles away.
Papadopoulos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dixon is fending him off so far but Papadopoulos persists. Nope, Dixon circles away and we're back to standing.
Papadopoulos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dixon has Papadopoulos up against the cage in a clinch.

Papadopoulos is working for takedown but Dixon is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dixon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Papadopoulos lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Dixon misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Papadopoulos.

Dixon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Papadopoulos takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dixon passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Papadopoulos!
Papadopoulos in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Papadopoulos is out cold! Dixon jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
