Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Razna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Daniel Kennamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nathaniel Razna has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathaniel Razna!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Daniel Kennamer!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kennamer shoots in and gets a takedown into Razna's guard.

Razna looking for a guillotine here but Kennamer defends easily.

Razna working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kennamer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kennamer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Razna trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kennamer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Razna has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Razna is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kennamer is aware though and is defending well.
Razna controls Kennamer momentarily but Kennamer frees himself.
Kennamer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Kennamer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Razna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kennamer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Razna controls Kennamer momentarily but Kennamer frees himself.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kennamer slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Razna looking for a guillotine here but Kennamer defends easily.
Kennamer throwing strikes but missing.
Kennamer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Kennamer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Razna looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Kennamer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Razna is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Razna prevents Kennamer from standing back up.

Razna is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Razna wants to pass to mount but Kennamer is defending the position.
Kennamer tries to kick Razna off but Razna keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Razna is working for a kimura but Kennamer is defending it quite comfortably.
Kennamer looks like he's trying to stand up.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kennamer has eaten all the pies!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kennamer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kennamer stops Razna from standing up.
Nathaniel Razna overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Razna bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kennamer's guard.

Kennamer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Razna wanted to stand there but Kennamer had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kennamer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Razna wants to get up but he can't break Kennamer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kennamer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Razna throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Razna throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Razna not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Razna is pulling down on Kennamer's head. It's preventing any offense from Kennamer, at least for the moment.

Kennamer lands a couple of decent looking shots.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kennamer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Razna on his heels. He'll look to pass Razna's guard now, I'm sure.
Razna is looking to stand back up but Kennamer counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Razna.

Kennamer throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kennamer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kennamer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to James Daniel Kennamer.
I think Kennamer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
