Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chip Cheliouze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuka Brasil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brasil has chosen Gimme Shelter - The Rolling Stones as his entrance music. Yuka Brasil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasil misses with a wild combination.
Cheliouze shoots in and drives through. Brasil sprawls well.
Brasil drops Cheliouze with a right and a left! Brasil comes rushing in but Cheliouze regains his composure and manages to keep Brasil in guard.

It looks like Chip Cheliouze has been cut.
Brasil landing with the ground and pound.

Cheliouze is rocked!
Cheliouze wants to sweep here but Brasil controlling him for the moment.
Oh Cheliouze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brasil loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Cheliouze seems to have got his legs back now.
Brasil postures up in Cheliouze's guard and throws a big left but Cheliouze blocks it.

Brasil is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Brasil scores a takedown into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brasil stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Cheliouze feints and as Brasil raises his hands in defense, Cheliouze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Brasil is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Brasil had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cheliouze is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brasil Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cheliouze's back instead.
Brasil looks gassed!

Cheliouze defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Brasil's arms.

Brasil is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Cheliouze knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Cheliouze for a finish.
Cheliouze tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Brasil moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cheliouze has worked his arm free - good work by Cheliouze!

Cheliouze wants to sweep here but Brasil controlling him for the moment.

Cheliouze decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brasil to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cheliouze wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Brasil has him pressed against the cage.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cheliouze throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brasil lands a nice short elbow.

Brasil has gone for a leg lock! Cheliouze slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brasil's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cheliouze seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Cheliouze is pushing down on Brasil's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brasil is fighting to maintain full guard but Cheliouze has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cheliouze can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Brasil is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Cheliouze wants to control the pace but Brasil is squirming around nicely.
Cheliouze lands with some strikes.
Cheliouze postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Brasil looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Brasil is desperately trying to improve his position but Cheliouze has a good base and remains in mount.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chip Cheliouze will probably get the nod.

That's time! Cheliouze's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A head kick from Cheliouze lands but Brasil takes it in his stride.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Chip Cheliouze just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cheliouze shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brasil pinned against the cage. Brasil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chip Cheliouze. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cheliouze blocks a head kick by Brasil.
Brasil takes a swing at Cheliouze's ribcage but misses.

Brasil is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cheliouze.

and Cheliouze counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Brasil stuffs the takedown attempt from Cheliouze. Cheliouze gets slowly back to his feet.
Brasil throws a head kick but Cheliouze moves out of range.
Brasil rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cheliouze moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cheliouze closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brasil to the mat! Brasil manages to get full guard.

Brasil is striking off his back. Cheliouze thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Brasil is in a horrible position here. Cheliouze smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Brasil tries to reverse the position but Cheliouze maintains control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chip Cheliouze.
I think Cheliouze has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
