The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a combination that misses
and McShane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown throws a body punch but McShane moves out of range.
Brown throws a hook but McShane blocks it.
Brown throws a hook to the side of McShane's head but McShane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McShane throws a lazy uppercut
and Brown counters with a straight right hand.
Brown displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McShane throws out the jab.

and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McShane bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brown's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McShane takes one to the chin there.
McShane swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.

McShane's corner calls for a 1-2. McShane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

McShane misses with a hook. Brown ducked under it nicely.

Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McShane takes a jab right on the kisser.
McShane goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Paddy Brown has been cut.
Brown misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McShane.
McShane throws a poor cross that misses
and Brown makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Brown throws a shot from downtown. McShane moves away and avoids it.

Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McShane at a distance.
Oh McShane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McShane stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McShane glances at the clock... BAM! Brown nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends McShane crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, McShane is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paddy Brown!
