Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Singer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Kordic!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singer lands with a nice body punch.
We've been told by Singer's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Singer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.


It looks like Robert Singer has been cut.
Singer walks into a stiff left hand from Kordic.
Singer lands a high kick!


It looks like John Kordic has been cut.
Kordic swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kordic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kordic throws a hook to the side of Singer's head but Singer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kordic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Singer on the side of the head.
Singer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kordic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kordic sizes up Singer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
John Kordic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kordic takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kordic throws a right and a left that both miss.
That kick from Singer tenderised Kordic's leg. Kordic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Singer cracks Kordic with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kordic looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Singer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kordic.
Singer lands with a nice body kick.
A big left from Kordic misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kordic fails with the takedown
and Singer counters with a good low kick that Kordic was not able to check.
Kordic throws a lazy uppercut
and Singer counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kordic is lucky that one didn't land flush.


Kordic is rocked!
Kordic rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Singer counters with a solid body kick.
Kordic looks winded!
Kordic throws an off balance right hand
and Singer counters with a big right hand! Oh Kordic is in trouble here! Singer follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Singer!
