Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Texas Holdem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luscious Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holdem loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
A nice combination there by Jones.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Holdem sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Holdem preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Holdem has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Holdem is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holdem regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Holdem is proving hard to escape from.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Holdem jumps guard but Jones stands there with Holdem around his waist. Holdem gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Holdem.

Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones throws a nice outside leg kick.
Luscious Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones lands a body shot.

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Holdem, pushing him back against the cage.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Holdem clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Holdem is keeping busy.
Holdem tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Holdem wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Holdem sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.
Holdem is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!

Holdem is really struggling to control Jones but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Jones finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.
Jones avoids a series of strikes thrown by Holdem.
Holdem trying to control but Jones is having none of it.

Holdem with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Holdem wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
Jones wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Holdem.

Holdem throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Luscious Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Holdem sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
