The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

myfriend's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Tsunetski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tsunetski wants to control the pace but myfriend is squirming around nicely.

myfriend looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Tsunetski has picked myfriend up and slammed him! myfriend can't keep hold of the triangle and Tsunetski manages to pass to side control!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tsunetski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Tsunetski feints and as myfriend raises his hands in defense, Tsunetski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tsunetski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
