Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Myles Pearson!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson misses with an uppercut. Kim saw that one coming.
Kim looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pearson is fending him off so far but Kim persists. Nope, Pearson circles away and we're back to standing.
Pearson fails to land the takedown.

Pearson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pearson is controlling the pace.
Kim knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pearson on the ground.
Kim wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim has hold of Pearson's hands but Pearson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Kim really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kim tries to roll over but Pearson keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pearson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Pearson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kim is looking for a sweep. Pearson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pearson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Kim.
Pearson controlling the action here.
Pearson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pearson works his way into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pearson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kim looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pearson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kim is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pearson lets go of the hold and Kim can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Myles Pearson!
Myles Pearson bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
