The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boothe jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Boothe walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Curry cracks Boothe with a right hand to the side of the head.
Curry throws a leg kick which misses Boothe's front leg but catches the back leg as Boothe tries to avoid it.

Boothe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Curry manages to avoid it.

It looks like Thomas Boothe has been cut.
Curry stopping the sweep attempt from Boothe.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boothe holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Curry tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Curry is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Boothe has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Curry lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Boothe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Curry dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Boothe. That did some damage!

Boothe takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Curry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boothe can do to turn this around?

Arthur Curry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Curry takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Curry connects with a combination that backs up Boothe into the cage. Curry lands a flurry of punches that gets past Boothe's guard. Boothe is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Curry bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

A very excited looking Arthur Curry rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
