With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Bones!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones misses with a takedown attempt
and Kirkland counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bones thinking.
Kirkland slaps away a takedown attempt from Bones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kirkland swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kirkland seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bobby Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bones shoots in looking for a takedown but Kirkland manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Troy Kirkland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Bones.

Bones closes the distance and clinches up with Kirkland, looking for a takedown. Bones pushes Kirkland against the cage but Kirkland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bones dives in and grabs Kirkland's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kirkland pushes down on Bones's head and hops out.

and Kirkland counters with a crisp right hand that drops Bones! Kirkland lets Bones back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Bones is rocked!

Bones takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bones is still on wobbly legs! Can Kirkland finish him?
Kirkland drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bones's head, knocking him out cold! Kirkland is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Jumping up and down and very excited, Troy Kirkland waved his t-shirt featuring Instinct 's logo in front of the cameras.
Bobby Bones was interviewed post fight and said 'Congratulations to my opponent. He fought really well today'.
