Sheehan Jr comes into the arena with Neon Skies blaring out of the sound system. Justus Sheehan Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheehan Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Jag.
Jag tries to clinch up.
Sheehan Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Sheehan Jr.
Sheehan Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jag is looking to clinch.
Sheehan Jr lands with a nice body kick.

Jag tries to close the distance and clinch but Sheehan Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jag slips a jab and a cross from Sheehan Jr.
Sheehan Jr jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jag moves in looking to clinch but Sheehan Jr pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jag takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jag blocks a head kick by Sheehan Jr.
Sheehan Jr throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jag rushes Sheehan Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sheehan Jr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sheehan Jr.

Sheehan Jr lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jag tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sheehan Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jag is rocked!

Jag is still on wobbly legs! Can Sheehan Jr finish him?
Sheehan Jr throws a head kick but Jag moves out of range.
Jag is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Sheehan Jr breaks from the clinch.
Jag walks straight into a right hand from Sheehan Jr - that's dropped him! Sheehan Jr jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Jag from any more punishment! Jag complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
