Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dallas Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dallas Haynes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Me!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes scores with a body shot.

Me gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Me breaks the clinch.
Haynes just misses with a punch to the body.
Haynes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Me breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haynes blocks a head kick by Me.
Haynes attempts a counter takedown but Me avoids it well and moves away.

Me has taken the fight to the clinch.
Me is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Me successfully pulls guard.
Me wants to control the position but Haynes says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Me is looking to improve his position.
Haynes not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Me is looking to escape.

Haynes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
It looks like Haynes is going to stand back up.

Haynes seems to be working for a kimura but Me defends the submission attempt.
Me controlling the position well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Me is looking to control Haynes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Me avoid being mounted?
Me holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Haynes missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Haynes wants to work for an arm triangle but Me is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Haynes seems to be looking for submissions.
Haynes tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Me avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Haynes.
Me wants to control but Haynes is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Me stuffs the takedown.
Haynes swinging wildly here.

Me closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Haynes's guard.
Haynes is breathing heavily.
Me controls from within his opponent's guard.

Me preventing the sweep.
Me stays in close to Haynes's body and controls the position.
Me trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Me throws a head kick that misses.
Me fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Me gets a double leg takedown into Haynes's guard.
Me looking to sit in guard and control but Haynes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Haynes postures up in Me's guard and throws a big left but Me blocks it.
Haynes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Me pulls Haynes in to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haynes is looking to work some ground and pound but Me has wrist control.
Haynes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Haynes gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Me looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haynes misses with a takedown attempt - Me sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Me closes the distance and pushes Haynes back into the cage.
Me stalls.

Haynes pulls guard effortlessly.
Me's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Me must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Haynes has momentary wrist control but Me slips an elbow through the middle.
Me wants to stand but Haynes is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haynes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Me content to stall in guard here.

Haynes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Me passes into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haynes being controlled for a moment.
Me wants to stand but Haynes has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard.
Me pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Haynes is keeping the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Me with a flurry of punches that miss.

Haynes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Me not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Haynes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Me stands and steps away. Haynes gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Me showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Haynes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Me scores with a body shot.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Haynes!
Haynes throws a series of punches but Me moves out of range.
Haynes takes one on the chin but seems OK.


It looks like Dallas Haynes has been cut.
Me throws the left hand but Haynes avoids the punch easily.
Me stalks Haynes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Haynes's face. Haynes staggers backwards, shaken.

Me rushes Haynes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Me will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Haynes up against the cage.

Me is trying to trip Haynes. He has hold of a leg but Haynes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Me persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haynes working a defensive guard but Me manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haynes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Jack Me has got the better of the ground game so far.
Me happy to just control the position for now.
Me wants to stand but Haynes is controlling his arm.
Me scores with a couple of short elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Me lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Haynes down.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Me tries for a kimura but Haynes is defending well.
Me staying calm.
Haynes takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Me lands a few punches from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Me working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Me wants to stand but Haynes has his arm trapped.

Me decides to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Me shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Me showed some decent athleticism there.

Haynes has one foot on Me's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Me has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Me scores with a takedown into Haynes's guard.
Me stays in close to Haynes's body and controls the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Me comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Me has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
