Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PO Statsny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Statsny is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BIgger Than Me - Game. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
PO Statsny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Statsny paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Soto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Statsny tries to avoid it but Soto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Statsny to the ground. Statsny escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Statsny misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Soto throws a quick counter kick to the body but Statsny avoids it.
Statsny shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Soto pinned against the cage. Soto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Statsny fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Statsny moves into range and clinches up with Soto.
A frustrated look appears on Soto's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Statsny wants to control but Soto passes easily into half guard.

Statsny is controlling Soto's trapped leg to prevent Soto from advancing to side control.

We've been informed that Statsny has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Soto shoots for a takedown but Statsny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Statsny wants to counter with a clinch but Soto pushes him away.
Statsny tries to bum rush Soto with a series of wild strikes but Soto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kim Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of PO Statsny.

Statsny comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Soto tries a body shot but Statsny blocks it.

Statsny's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Statsny jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soto walks away with a smile on his face. Statsny gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Statsny enables Soto to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Statsny manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kim Soto will probably get the nod.
That's time! Soto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Soto shoots in and drives through. Statsny sprawls well.
Statsny throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Statsny has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Soto off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
A head kick from Statsny lands but Soto takes it in his stride.

Statsny takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Soto decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Statsny's guard.

Statsny is trying to control Soto's posture but Soto avoids it.

Soto creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Statsny sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Statsny is looking to sweep but instead, Soto has passed into half guard.
Statsny controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Soto connects with a nice short shot to Statsny's temple.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Statsny tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Soto manages to move to mount!

I would just about give that final round to PO Statsny.
