The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Smith fakes the leg kick and cracks Manbearpig in the body.
Manbearpig fails to land the takedown.

Smith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Smith looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Manbearpig looking for submissions off his back.
Smith not doing much here.
Manbearpig wants to control but Smith passes into side.

Smith working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Smith is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Manbearpig is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Manbearpig manages to work his way to half guard, despite Smith's best efforts.

Smith throws and elbow that misses. Manbearpig uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Smith's guard. Nice move by Manbearpig!

Manbearpig thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Smith has managed to clinch.

Manbearpig makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Manbearpig sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard.
Manbearpig is keen to just control but Smith is a slippery customer.

Manbearpig decides to return to a standing position.

Manbearpig drives through and clinches with Smith against the cage.
Smith throws a punch but it's blocked by Manbearpig.
Manbearpig is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Manbearpig tries to score a body lock takedown but Smith shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Smith tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Manbearpig smiles and moves away.
John Manbearpig has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Smith.

and Smith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Manbearpig's guard now.
Smith won't allow Manbearpig to get back to his feet.

Smith stands up and waves to Manbearpig to follow him.

Manbearpig changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Manbearpig has an Americana. Smith didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Manbearpig is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Manbearpig hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Manbearpig!
