Brindle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Tripplet to counter with a crisp jab.
Brindle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tripplet but Tripplet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A lazy left from Brindle finds it's target.
Tripplet misses with a series of wild punches.
Brindle fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tripplet is out of range.
Tripplet misses with a few strikes there.
Tripplet fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brindle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Brindle.
