PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Mcbride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Alter Bridge - The Damage Done. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Mcbride!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcbride swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mcbride is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kennedy drives through with a takedown into Mcbride's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kennedy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcbride wants to stand but Kennedy is controlling the position.
Mcbride is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've been hearing that Kennedy has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
