And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rashid Mposi leaves Mayflower with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mayflower closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rashid Mposi did well to prevent Mayflower getting side control.
Rashid Mposi tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Mayflower manages to move to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mayflower tries to push Rashid Mposi's head away but Rashid Mposi is holding on tight.
Rashid Mposi is in a horrible position here. Mayflower smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Rashid Mposi tries to lock up and control but Mayflower gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rashid Mposi avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mayflower.
Rashid Mposi is trying to escape the mount but Mayflower keeps good control and instead manages to take Rashid Mposi's back.
Mayflower misses with an elbow to the head.
