Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onizuka Stresemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viacheslav Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stresemann comes to the cage accompanied by Takashi Sorimachi - Poison . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Onizuka Stresemann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Viacheslav Datsik!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stresemann looking to score a takedown here. Datsik is defending well but Stresemann drives through and ends up in Datsik's guard.
Datsik wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Stresemann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Datsik swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Datsik utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stresemann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Datsik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stresemann passes Datsik's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Stresemann is thwarting Datsik's attempts to control the position.
Stresemann wants to pass the guard but Datsik is defending well.
Datsik is positioning himself well to prevent Stresemann advancing to mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Stresemann seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Datsik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stresemann takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Datsik gets caught napping as Stresemann dives in and scores a takedown. Datsik manages to retain guard.

Datsik is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Datsik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Datsik thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Stresemann if he has to take too many more of those.

Stresemann is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Stresemann looks for a takedown but Datsik sprawls well.

Datsik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stresemann.
Datsik swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Stresemann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Datsik can do to turn this around?

Stresemann misses with a wild body shot.
Stresemann sets himself, and Datsik steps forward looking for the clinch! Stresemann avoids it this time.
Onizuka Stresemann is winning the standup battle so far.
Datsik throws an overhand right that lands on Stresemann's shoulder, as Stresemann tries to avoid the shot.
Good exchange - Stresemann coming out on top.
Stresemann takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Datsik looks to throw the jab but Stresemann is out of range.
Datsik works over Stresemann's head and body with a nice combination.
Stresemann rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Datsik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Stresemann scores with a four punch combination!


Datsik is rocked!
Datsik takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Datsik is still on wobbly legs! Can Stresemann finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Datsik is aggressively charging in as Stresemann backs up avoiding any damage. Stresemann tosses out a jab and Datsik runs right into it face first! Datsik is out cold! Stresemann dropped down on all fours and is barking in Datsik's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Onizuka Stresemann!
