Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobo Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobo Clown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brandon Willis!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Clown to the mat! Clown manages to get full guard.

Clown has his foot on Willis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Willis works his way back into a safe position though.
Willis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Willis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Clown is trying to control the position but Willis postures up.

Willis postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Clown is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Willis, into his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Willis has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Clown off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Clown gets caught napping as Willis dives in and scores a takedown. Clown manages to retain guard.

Willis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Clown manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Clown or perhaps it was just good defense by Willis, which made it look bad.

Clown closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Willis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Clown.

Willis turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Willis manages to end up in side control.
Clown's coaches at Den of Tears (22 coaches, $900 fee) have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Willis is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Clown tries to improve position but can't.
Clown wants to control but Willis postures up.

Willis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You can see the frustration on Clown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Clown is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clown is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Willis's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Clown wants to get back to full guard.
Willis is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Clown wants to hold on but Willis pushes him away.
Willis throws some wild stikes that Clown manages to avoid easily.

Willis wants to control the pace but Clown is squirming around nicely.

Willis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clown gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brandon Willis dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Clown has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clown there as he acknowledges the shot.
Clown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Willis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Willis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brandon Willis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Clown regains half guard.
Clown wants to control but Willis is keeping busy.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Willis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Clown has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Willis doesn't defend quickly enough and Clown has managed to lock this one up! Can Willis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Clown on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bobo Clown!
A relieved looking Bobo Clown thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
