Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quill Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Red!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quill Styles!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red tries to bum rush Styles with a series of wild strikes but Styles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Red is trying to maintain a safe position but Styles gets an underhook and turns Red into the cage.

Styles has picked Red up - he's going for a ride! Styles dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Styles connects with a nice short shot to Red's temple.
