PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rokki Kukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaun-Paul Fredrickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaun-Paul Fredrickson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukko connects with a crisp jab.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Fredrickson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kukko as he jumps to the side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fredrickson enables Kukko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fredrickson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fredrickson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kukko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
