Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sam Crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crow's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem- Not Afraid. Vader is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Imperial March. Sam Crow is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Crow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darth Vader !
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader scores with a head kick.
Darth Vader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vader throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Vader counters with a nice body kick.
Vader paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Vader lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Vader shoots in and bounces Crow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Vader throws an elbow that misses. Crow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vader 's guard. Nice move by Crow!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vader pulls Crow in close to his closed guard and prevents Crow from doing any damage or advancing position.

and Vader counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Vader closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Crow did well to prevent Vader getting side control.

Crow is trying to stand back up but Vader is controlling him
Vader wants to lay and pray for a moment but Crow keeps working.
Well, if Vader is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Crow wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vader wants to take a breather but Crow is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Crow tries to clinch up but Vader circles away and keeps his distance.

As Vader looks to move away, Crow throws a big counter combo but Vader just gets out of the way.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vader checks a leg kick.

Crow tries to keep at a distance but Vader has taken the fight into the clinch.
Crow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Crow scores with a shoulder strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vader tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vader digs a right hand into Crow's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Crow's gas tank.

Vader gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Crow regains guard.

Vader feints and as Crow raises his hands in defense, Vader changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've been told by Crow's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Vader throws a hook to the side of Crow's head but Crow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As Vader looks to move away, Crow throws a big counter combo but Vader just gets out of the way.

Crow looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Crow misses with a series of wild punches.
Crow digs a good body shot into Vader 's ribs.

Vader shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Crow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Darth Vader comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Vader has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Our winner, Darth Vader , made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
