Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Heriberto Parks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brichard Goose!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Goose defends well and Parks ends up having to push Goose into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Goose tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Goose darts in and clinches Parks up against the cage.
Goose is working for takedown but Parks is calmly controlling the position for now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Goose takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Goose is trying to break free.
Parks blocks an uppercut.
Parks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Goose is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parks gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Goose.
Goose has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Parks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Heriberto Parks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brichard Goose.

Parks is fighting off a takedown attempt but Goose is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Parks to the mat. Parks regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Parks will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Parks utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Goose engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Goose lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Parks can't keep his opponent in guard - Goose advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Parks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goose on the ground.
Parks on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Goose sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Goose decides to stand and escape the position.

Goose closes the distance and pushes Parks back into the cage.
Goose has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Goose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Goose is trying to break free.

Goose breaks from the clinch.
Goose leaves Parks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Goose shoots in and bounces Parks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Parks has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Goose has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Goose effectively controlling the action here.
Goose drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parks tries to pull guard but Goose won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brichard Goose dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Goose manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Parks on his heels. He'll look to pass Parks's guard now, I'm sure.
Parks being controlled here, momentarily.

Goose drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goose jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Parks is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goose stopping the sweep attempt from Parks.
Parks can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Goose controls the pace.

Parks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goose distracts Parks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Goose engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Goose's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Brichard Goose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Goose displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Parks.

Goose feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Parks sprawling to the canvas! Parks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Goose finish him?!


Parks is rocked!


It looks like Heriberto Parks has been cut.

Goose shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Parks is out cold and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Brichard Goose!
