Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bowen Brees!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brees drives through with a takedown into guard.
Roach manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Roach misses with a knee strike.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Roach as Brees tries to tie him up.
Brees manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Roach stands up and waves to Brees to follow him.
Roach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brees shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Roach is trying to defend but Brees finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Roach makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roach tries to sprawl but Brees drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Roach manages to escape and get back to his feet!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Roach enables Brees to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Roach manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Roach has his feet on Brees's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brees closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Roach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Brees decides to pull guard.
Brees isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Roach stacks Brees on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Roach!
Roach has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Brees is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Roach yanks on the arm and Brees is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Roach.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Vincenzo Roach!
