The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Anderson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Ward.
Anderson lands a lovely overhand right.
Anderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ward was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderson.

Ward gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.
Ward is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Anderson to keep the fight standing.

Anderson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Ward swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Anderson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ward up against the cage.

Anderson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ward to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Anderson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ward pulls down on the head and he's put Anderson to sleep! This one is all over!
