Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaston Avare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gaston Avare told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Al Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gaston Avare!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avare shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Avare shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Avare keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Adams swinging wildly here.
Adams scoring well with a low kick there.
Adams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Adams lunges at Avare with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Avare's hand.
It looks like Gaston Avare has been cut.
Adams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adams wants it to stay on the feet.
It looked like Adams was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Al Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gaston Avare.
Adams jabs at Avare's body.
Adams falls off balance throwing a combination
and Avare counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Adams knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Avare on the ground.
Adams is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Avare is thwarting Adams's attempts to control the position.
Avare seems to be working for a kimura but Adams defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Adams.
Adams manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Avare manages to get himself to full guard.
Avare thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Avare has his foot on Adams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adams works his way back into a safe position though.
Avare escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Avare has wrist control.
Adams is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Avare has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Adams is looking to defend but Avare has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Adams! Avare pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Adams taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Gaston Avare!
Gaston Avare decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
